Japan retained the top position as the most favourable
passport in the world – visa-free entry to 193 global
Japan is at the top for the fifth year in a row.
Singapore and South Korea are joint second in the
ranking, followed by Germany and Spain.
Compared to last year India’s position has improved
by two points. India is at 85th position in the ranking.
An Indian passport holder can travel visa-free to 59
countries, although in 2022 the number was 60.

India Surpasses Japan to become 3rd Largest Auto Market Globally/ भारत जापान को पछाड़ कर ,व.व /तर पर तीसरा सबसे बड़ा ऑटो बाजार बन गया है

In a major development, India surpassed Japan in terms of auto sales last year to become the third-largest auto market globally for the first time.
India’s total sales of new vehicles stood at around 4.25 million units, based on preliminary results, topping the 4.2 million sold in Japan.
Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker in China continued to lead the global auto market, while the USA remained second.

India surpasses China to become most populous country in  the world

According to World Population Review  (WPR), India has surpassed China as the world’s most populous nation. According to official announcements. The population of India is a little over 5 million, compared to 141.2 million declared by China on 17 January. India, with 50 percent of its population below the age of 30, is poised to be the fastest-growing major economy in the world.

Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the top destination for mobile gamers, followed by  Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bihar, and West Bengal, according to India Mobile Gaming  Report 2022 by gaming platform Mobile Premier League. India’s gaming market was worth $USD 2.6 billion in the financial year 2022 and it will reach $8.6 billion by 2027 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27 percent.

17th Annual Education Report (ASER), 2022

Key Findings of the Report:

•Government schools saw a sharp rise in enrolment for the first time in 16  years

•Basic literacy levels of children have taken a big hit, with their reading ability  dropping to pre-2012 levels

• The number of children enrolled in government schools increased from 65.6% in  2018 to 72.9% in 2022.

•Percentage of girls in the age group of 11-14 years who were out of school  declined from 4.1% to 2%

•The decrease is even sharper among older girls in 15-16 years age group, from  13.5% in 2018 to 7.9% in 2022

•According to the report, the average teacher attendance has increased from  85.4% in 2018 to 87.1% in 2022.

•The number of schools with girls’ toilet facilities has increased from 66.4% in 2018  to 68.4% in 2022.

•There has been an increase in the number of schools having drinking water availability.
